Open Tuner for iPhone

Privacy policy

Open Tuner contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, makes no network requests and has no Open AppCo server. It does not collect any information about you.

Microphone

Open Tuner uses the microphone only while it is on screen, to work out the note you're playing. Sound is analyzed in memory on your iPhone and is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere. The microphone stops when you leave the app.

On your iPhone

Open Tuner stores your instrument, the tuning you chose for each instrument, the A4 reference pitch and the Auto setting in its own container on your iPhone. No account is needed. Deleting the app removes its data; iOS backups are controlled by your device and Apple settings.

Help websites

Support and Privacy links open your browser. GitHub Pages hosts these pages and receives technical request information under GitHub's privacy statement. The Open AppCo website uses PostHog pageview, click analytics and masked session replay; these website tools are not embedded in the iPhone app.

Contact

Use support@openappco.com or Open AppCo support for questions. GitHub issues are public.
