Privacy policy

The Open Metronome iPhone app collects no personal data. It contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, account, microphone access, or recording.

On your device

Click sounds are synthesized on your iPhone. Tempo, rhythm, sound settings, and named presets are saved locally. The app does not upload them or sync them to our servers. You can delete individual presets or reset all settings and presets, with confirmation. Deleting the app removes its local data; Apple manages device backups according to your settings.

Optional website links

Support and Privacy Policy links open this website in your browser. Opening a link is optional; all metronome features work offline. No rhythm settings or preset names are included in these links.

This website

GitHub Pages hosts this website and receives technical request information as described in GitHub’s privacy statement. The Open AppCo website uses PostHog for page views, clicks, and masked session replay. Form inputs are masked. Website measurement is separate from the native app, which has no analytics or tracking SDK.

Support messages

If you email support, we receive your email address and message to answer your request. We do not sell support messages. Contact us to request deletion of correspondence, subject to any required retention.
